In April 2016, Birdville ISD received the exciting news that BISD was chosen as one of the 5 districts to get a generous grant for blended learning from the Raise Your Hand Texas group. The English 1 teams at the three large high schools, Haltom HS, Richland HS, and Birdville HS, have launched pilots for the last 6-weeks to implement different aspects of blended learning with students. This blog is a common place to share information, to make observations, to find resources, and to spotlight the successes of blended learning.
